(Bel Air, Maryland) Harford County Executive David R. Craig was on hand for the grand opening of Harford County's newest hotel. Homewood Suites by Hilton©, the international brand of all-suite, residential-style hotels, announced the opening of its newest property in Bel Air, Maryland. Located at 4170 Philadelphia Road, the hotel is conveniently situated within a suburban area that offers multiple shopping avenues for guests.

Major nearby corporations include SAIC and Aberdeen Proving Ground. Guests can enjoy many restaurants that are close to the hotel including Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday's, Bliss Coffee, and Wine Bar. Nearby attractions include Historic Havre De Grace, Ripken Stadium, and Bulle Rock Golf Course.

The five-story, 92-suite hotel is owned by Shri Sudha, LLC and is managed by Hilton Hotels Corporation. General Manager, James Fitzsimmons has been in the hospitality industry for nearly ten years with seven of those years being spent at various Homewood Suites hotels. Claire Kauserud will be joining Fitzsimmons as the Director of Sales and brings nearly eight years of hospitality experience to this new venture.

Homewood Suites by Hilton - Bel Air offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom suites, and nine handicap accessible suites.
